My dearest Elanda,
 
    I miss you so deeply that words can not describe.  The emptiness that I fill is so unbearable and at times it takes all my strength to keep going on. You were my first born angel, the only daughter I will ever have.  If only I had known that in the short time you were on your own that this horrible demon "Heroin" would take control. My only solace is knowing that when my time on earth is done that your beautiful smiling face will be there to greet me, and I look forward to that glorious day.
