Michael Barney Burnett

(1953 - 1979)

    We were brought up in a time of a changing society and values. Heroin and drugs were glamorized. We got caught right up in this scene and were left to find out the bitter realities. You never got the chance to realize as I did only recently that we didn't have to live that way. I always will wonder how far you could have gone if you had a chance to use that exceptional
intelligence of yours. Your life and death is not a waste. I will always
remember your innate decency and generosity and you will forever remain an inspiration to me.
