Jim Grill

(1974 - 1999)

Beautiful child taken from this world carried to a  better place of peace to hold, Where you can wear the smile we all adore, Where you can set free your spirit and let it soar. Let God  protect you, Jim, from now until forever, And may you look down and know you're somewhere better. But, please, also see us standing below you, Take note of our loving tears because we're  looking too. We may be searching for answers as to why you had to go, We're happy you're at rest now, but we miss you so. The light that would shine through your green eyes will forever reside in our hearts, The bond we had with you will never be taken apart. Can you see me now Jim, Can you see how much I care, struggling with a pain too deep, too sharp to bear. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to embrace your soul before it drifted into the sky. I like to think of you in the sky with all the great things like the sun, stars and  moon, So, what all did this bring, besides a life taken too soon? It brought you the serene calm you craved although it took  our Jim we all tried to save. We'll be looking up at you, so look down on us every once in a while, through the clouds so we can see your smile. Missed dearly...............................................
