Jeffrey McClellan
(1964 - 1999)
To Jeff: At night when I stand & look up at the sky I wonder, Jeff, which star you are. You were my star when you were born. You were my rock while you were here on earth. I miss your big smile and witty sense of humor most of all. Every time the phone rings, I think it will be you. I cannot bear to think that I will never hear your voice or laugh again. I dread enduring another holiday without you. Jeff, a tree has been planted in our backyard in your memory and as soon as that tree gets sturdy enough, the birdhouse and bird feeder you built will be hung for the wildlife you loved so much. Jeff, I was very proud of you & my love for you is unconditional. ...............................................Love MomAbout Jeff: Jeff was 34 years old when he passed away Thanksgiving weekend of 1999 from an overdose of heroin. Jeff was a handsome, blue-eyed talented guy whose life was cut short from this dreadful disease of addiction. Jeff's mischievous smile lit up a room when he walked in. Jeff was a caring, giving & loving son & brother and his hugs and "I love you's" were warm and many. Jeff made friends easily with his easy going, friendly way. Everybody that met him liked him because of his genuineness. He spoke to and about everyone with respect. Jeff had so many good qualities that they are to many to mention. While Jeff was here on earth he lived life to the fullest. He had no fears, he loved hiking, camping and was a dare-devil. Jeff worked as a carpenter and he loved construction work - the higher up the better. Jeff was also an artist and he specialized in working with glass. Jeff created stained glass windows for churches and homes and had a talent for etching glass and mirrors. Jeff's work can be found in the upper Peninsula of Michigan in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Jeff loved the Upper Peninsula and fell in love with its pristine beauty about 8 years ago and never returned to lower Michigan to live. Jeff had a God given talent and anybody who received one of his pieces of art as a gift would agree. Jeff will be missed more then words could ever say by his Mom, Ann, his step-dad - Howard, his sister - Lori, several family members and many friends. If anyone would like to write me my email is furbynut@acninc.net |
