Ted Briscoe

(1943 - 1997)

He kept hoping, praying and trying, but never made  it or understood why. I wish he had stayed on methadone,  but he was determined, wanting the UROD before anyone  had even heard of it and finally getting one in 1996. He proceeded to shoot until the naltrexone implant was out of juice and he could have some relief.  Odd, after  he  died people were convinced he had not had the  UROD  because "Then he'd be cured."

God forgive those who offer cures when only remission is possible.
