My beautiful, tender-hearted husband, you died alone in a motel room. There is a black gaping hole where my heart used to be and I don't think the bleeding will ever stop. The love we had for each other was given to us by God, to have survived all of the agony we put it through. But it did survive and we were married til death did us part. Now I am yearning for the dimming of my day . Rest now, sweet baby, safe in God's loving arms, til I get there to take your hand and begin our journey by the silent sea. Forever and ever, amen. |
